Fatimah Bello is an entrepreneurial innovation executive with a unique blend of corporate innovation, business development, product operations, and business operation experience. Most recently, Bello was the VP of Product and Business development at Heliogen, focusing on sunlight refinery products – heat, power, hydrogen, foundational customer acquisitions, and company growth.

Before Heliogen, Bello spent 18+ years at SABIC-Aramco and The Dow Chemical Company in numerous technical and corporate leadership roles in clean technology developments and corporate decarbonization strategy execution across the global O&G space.

Bello holds an MBA from Rice University, a Master’s in Engineering Management from The University of Alberta, and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the City College of New York. Bello is an active impact investor, and cleantech startup advisor focused on building a clean, carbon-free future and a mentor at the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship’s Clean Energy Accelerator.
